I'm sure you won't be alone in riding it either! I'd plan on getting to the top by midday to be safe. Nothing like feeling totally wrecked after 5 hrs of psychotic downhill with everyone bombing past. Only just made the final checkpoint, and dragged my sorry arse to the end 12 hrs after I started. All depends on your priorities really. The 2.5s will give you a bit more sure-footed-ness - they'll roll over or through stuff without getting knocked off line as much. They'll also grip better and be a little more forgiving due to the extra volume. And the added pinch puncture protection... Am heading there in a fortnight for 4 days snowboarding. Have always been there in the winter and as such, never really picked up on much mountain biking going on there, but there must be some great trails. Good choice teaming up with the Dragon.
