And the summer mountain bike season is here!
From tomorrow the lifts are open for mountain biking in Morzine and Les Gets full time. flowmtb has a full chalet of guests, and a team of staff ready and waiting for them to arrive! We’ve been busy all week getting everything ready and finally it’s time.

For those that don’t know, this is a major road race. The big teams are there and see it as an important race in the lead up to the Tour de France.
The Portes du Soleil (the MTB domaine of which Morzine is part of) is the sponsor of the green jersey. This is an important step towards getting the Portes du Soleil recognised as an amazing area for road riders, in the lead up to a huge new roadie event starting in the next few years.
The Dauphiné will be making its way into Les Gets on Friday 10th, and departing from there at midday on the 11th. It’s a great chance to see some of the world’s best cyclists vying for glory, and easy to ride over on your MTB watch the race and ride back!

Despite the lifts being open for mountain bikers last weekend this coming weekend is the official opening weekend for Les Gets.

This weekend the Les Gets lifts opened for mountain bikers. Both days were busy with lots of local riders showing up to ride old favourites and check out the new trails.

This week the lifts are open thursday through to sunday, then both Morzine and Les Gets lifts are open for mountain bikers full time from the 11th June.
We have just opened up special offers on our self catered chalet in June.

Just back from a fantastic long weekend to Sestri Levante in Italy. The perfect place to head before the lifts open here. Hot and sunny, good trails and slightly smaller hills to ease ourselves back into pedalling!
