We decided to make the most of the lack of snow here in the Alps with a trip down to Mt Saleve (just outside Geneva) to ride our mountain bikes, in the dust, with a cable car to get us to the top. We were happy chappies that’s for sure!
The cable car is the one you see as you drive down the motorway from Geneva to Morzine. It gets you up to 1100m, so a good 600m descent – which we did three times including a little explore onto the Petite Saleve to find some great singletrack buried under a foot of dry leaves. Great day out.
