New mountain bike of Danny McAskill in Scotland with the usual crazy, incredible to watch stunts.
The Panoramic trail in Chatel bike park is a green graded DH. It’s a great trail for beginners, but experienced riders also enjoy it. It’s one of those rare trails that really has it all: easy for beginners, fun for experienced riders, great views, oh and a chairlift to get you back up to the top.
The Chatel bike park is a short ride from the flowmtb base in Morzine (up the Super Morzine lifts, ride down to Lindarets, up the Chaux Fleurie lift, and you’re at the top of the park and the top of Panoramic!) and is a good place to hang out for a day, re-riding a few of the different trails and honing your technique.

The less travelled path. Once again a video of Guy and Jo, this time on Pig Run One, one of the ways down to Les Lindarets from Super Morzine. This is less ridden than the signed Pass’Portes route, and one we recommend to all our guests to try.
Watch it here.

Wow, thanks everyone
I’ve just had a quick look on Trip Advisor and been blown away by the amazing feedback you’ve given us.

The last few years have seen the Pre la Joux mountain bike park at Chatel developing lots of new tracks and features for riders. As all the focus tends to be on the crazy steep stuff and of course the incredible Slopestyle course and comp they hold each summer, Guy and Jo (from RideAbility) decided to get out last year and film some riding on the blue runs. These are trails loads of our flowmtb guests enjoy riding. The Chatel bike park is a short ride from our base in Morzine (up the Super Morzine lifts, ride down to Lindarets, up the Chaux Fleurie lift, and you’re at the top of the park!) and is a good place to hang out for a day, re-riding a few of the different trails and honing your technique.
There are some nice flowmy bermed turns, a few techier sections and a sneaky bit of shore – please note this is very much optional!

Right now it feels like winter is coming to Morzine. It’s raining (snowing higher up) and it definitely doesn’t feel like a good day for getting out on the bikes.
We’re cheering ourselves up by looking back at some of the videos of biking around Morzine and the Portes du Soleil last summer. Roll on summer 2011!
Check out Jo from RideAbility and Guy on the infamous Monkey’s Arse descent.
And part 2 of the descent here.
We’re just back from a few days riding in the Italian sunshine. Just as Morzine starts to turn to winter and our biking days are numbered a few of us headed south for some sea, sunshine and, of course, riding.
The trails at Finale don’t disappoint, especially when the day is rounded off with a beer and pizza in the old town.
