While many other resorts welcome mountain bikers, the Portes du Soleil area, is home to one of the most extensive Mountain Bike playgrounds on earth, with 650kms of bike tracks, linking 12 Franco-Swiss resorts. A leader in the field, the Portes du Soleil saw the potential over 15 years ago and has been investing strongly in this facility ever since, with the first inter-station links opening in the ‘90s. The Portes du Soleil is uniquely positioned, with both its world-class network of 25 chairlifts and cable cars open all through the summer and its partnership with its 12 resorts established over 40 years, to provide an incomparable mountain bike experience.

Multipass included in bike pass

Last year’s guests will remember that the Portes du Soleil started a new Multipass scheme, where for €1 per day guests staying with registered hotels got entry to the swimming pools, tennis courts, buses and other activities. We joined the scheme and lobbied from the start that this should be included in the mountain bike lift pass.

The Portes du Soleil have listened to us and to you and have now included all the multipass benefits for free as long as you are staying with a registered accommodation provider, such as flowmtb.

This means you can go to the pool after riding, have a quick game of tennis or use a bus for free!
