We’ve been working hard getting all our bikes ready to sell and getting the chalet ready to hand back to the owners so decided to reward ourselves with a day out riding on Sunday….just like the old days! I have to admit that after a summer of lift assisted riding the initial long climb up, first road, then off road, was a bit of a shock, but it was definitely worth it. We found some great, barely ridden trails and hardly saw anyone else all day. Best of all, for anyone happy to put up with a short push it makes a great add on to one of our summer season favourites.
Here’s one of our Bullits for sale. It is:
Size Large, Fox DHX 3.0 shock, Totem Coil Forks, X9 shifter + brand new X9 rear mech + Cassette. e13 SRS chain device. Hope Pro2 front hub, WTB rear, both on WTB dual duty rims. Avid Juicy 5 brakes. Funn bars, Truvative cranks (38t). WTB post and saddle.  Brand new Minion tyres (2.7 super tacky front, 2.5 maxxpro rear). Brand new bottom bracket and headset.
It’s been part of our hire fleet this summer, is only 3 months old and as you can see from the photos is in A1 top notch condition bar some heel rub on the LH chainstay (pictured)

We took a trip back to Roshers de Naye on Wednesday – here’s some footage (we’ve been trying out new camera positions!)

I found myself with a few hours to spare yesterday and headed out on my bike on my own. It’s the first time I’d ridden alone in a long time and I thought I’d quite enjoy it. However, I found myself missing company. I’ve had a fantastic week, riding with a great group of people (well to be honest a fantastic summer riding with great people) and I missed my companions. It was a good ride, but just not the same, and I missed the laughs of the previous week. To all my riding companions of this summer don’t leave it long till you’re back
