So, with a bit of effort today and yesterday my new bike is nearly ready to try out. It won’t be finished for a little while yet, needs a new rear mech (old one will do for now), a bit of tinkering and of course some beautifying, but we’re getting there. My back wheel’s been playing up, cones needed tightening, but Guy’s busy fixing that…that was the point at which he stepped in and wouldn’t let me have a go. Still, pretty pleased with having done the rest myself.
Luckily I’ve been baking recently so yesterday’s work was fuelled with tea and white choc and walnut cookies, while today we had quadruple chocolate cake! Keeps Guy happy at least 
Just need to be able to get out and ride it now……
